Our Directors

Vista Properties is independently owned and run by Directors, Vicky and Stacey, who work and dedicate all their time to driving the business forward, through innovation and experience. Having both grown up and worked in and around Swadlincote, their knowledge and understanding of the areas is second to none.

After meeting through the Estate Agency business, they have both worked for corporate,
independent and high street agents which has given them great insight into what works and what doesn’t. After more than 15 years combined experience, they decided to put that insight into their own business, which resulted in the founding of Vista Properties.

Vicky and Stacey are both qualified with the recognised award, NFOPP Level 3 in Residential Sales, which is the leading qualification in Estate Agency, covering key areas in the sale of residential property. This along with their wealth of experience makes them incredibly knowledgeable in the local, regional and national markets, meaning they are well-placed to provide sound and reliable advice to their clients.

Vista Properties are dedicated to supporting other local businesses and charities, their aim is to source as many local suppliers to help with additional services that can’t be dealt with in-house. We also take part in charity events locally and fund raising for local charities and initiatives.

Meet our Directors

Stacey Newton

MNAEA

Stacey moved to Swadlincote in her early years after being born in Nottingham and she’s lived in the area ever since. After passing her exams with flying colours in secondary school, she decided to move to Spain for 2 years teaching water sports.

When she returned from the beautiful Spanish sunshine she joined a high-street Estate Agent as an accompanied viewer, and soon realised her passion for the property industry. She quickly worked her way up through the ranks to Senior Sales Negotiator.

After several years, she left that business to join another high street agent in a near-by local town and took on a more senior role to help drive the business forward. This role meant she would gain more experience and knowledge of the sales process, local areas and differing housing markets. Moving on from there, Stacey decided to take a break from Estate Agency and joined The Royal Navy. She showed commitment, courage and integrity to complete the gruelling basic training, enjoying her Passing Out Parade in March 2019. After several months, Stacey decided to leave the Royal Navy and returned to the Estate Agency industry. She joined a larger local firm, where she took on a senior role and carried out her Level 3 qualification in the Sale of Residential Property. She has built great relationships with local businesses, professionals and people through-out her career which has proven a great success whilst building Vista Properties.

Stacey takes great pride in her work and her wealth of experience is vital in her dealings within the business. Her knowledge of the local areas is second-to-none and she is always bursting with new ideas and ways to do things. She will provide honest advice and always tries everything to ensure a smooth process along the way.

Stacey now lives in Ashby De La Zouch. She enjoys long country walks and maintaining her military fitness, taking part in various sporting activities when she can.

Vicky Poultney

MNAEA

Vicky grew up on a farm in Netherseal, making her our expert on agricultural matters. After excelling in primary and secondary education at local schools, she entered the world of Estate Agency after joining a local independent firm which was primarily internet-based. She realised her passion for the industry in her many years there and undertook her Level 3 qualification in the Sale of Residential Property.

Nearing the end of her qualification, Vicky wanted to gain some further experience with other types of Estate Agency business models, and moved to a high-street agent in a near-by town. This gave her extended knowledge of the sale process, further experience with progressing sales, and a different outlook on how Agents work in different environments and markets. Moving on from there to take a more senior role at a larger firm in another local town allowed Vicky to develop her management skills and she built strong relationships there with local people, businesses and professionals.

This has stood her in good stead to build her own business and all of this experience is crucial in Vicky’s day to day dealings with vendors, buyers and solicitors for Vista properties. Her local property insight allows her to give honest and professional advice and she will not shy away from difficult conversations, whilst her previous experience and sound legislative knowledge ensures she can help all our customers with any problems or queries they may have.

Vicky still lives in Swadlincote with her partner and their dog, Teddy, enjoying long country walks at one of the near-by trails with her pup in her spare time.
